Congratulations to John Illingworth, who has been appointed Director of our Leicester office.

John joined GCA in 2000 and moves to Leicester from our Warwick office where his experience and expertise has contributed greatly to GCA’s success.

John, who is a chartered structural engineer, will now be responsible for developing our Leicester office, which offers clients a variety of civil and structural engineering services including house extensions, residential and commercial developments, leisure facilities and school projects, as well as traditional structural surveys.

He has worked on projects across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Australia. These include the development of the substructure for Canary Wharf, Rackhams at the Shires Shopping Centre in Leicester, an international business park in Warsaw, natural gas plants in UAE and Oman and the Ford Paint shop in Adelaide Australia.
